NOVEMBER 10, 2021

16) Mayor Hamsher opened the meeting at 6:04 pm and roll call was taken

19) Approval of October 13 Minutes MSP Officer/Williams
20) Mike Springer explains his proposed land partition

22) Jim Angell Proposed Property Rental Request
23) Councilor Reagan recused herself
24) Mayor Hamsher agreed to inquire with the City’s attorney to find out what the

legalities of

25) such a request would be.
26) The council would like to make sure won’t interfere with City work.
27) Discuss Depot Park Rate Increase
28) Current rate is $26 a night. Councilor Williams suggest raising it to $32 a night

Mayor

29) Hamsher request the additional $6 be distributed accordingly: $2.50 to the

sewer fund

30) $2.50 to the water fund and $1.00 to help fund the museum. Mayor Hamsher

recommends

31) we raise the RV sewer dump rate to $10.00 for the sewer fund. Public Works

Director Chris

32) Camarena states the RV Park could use a new quarter machine for the shower.
33) Council would like to implement after the first of the year and want to

schedule a workshop

34) for w/s rates for the private sector’s RV rates. Mayor Hamsher said he would

follow up on

35) the drafting of a resolution for the Council to vote on.
36) Reports
37) Fire Chief Marvin Rynearson: Lifts burn ban. Reminds people to get a burn

permit. Marvin

38) said there is still lots of fuel and recommends residents be very careful.

Burning allowed

39) between 6-10am Marvin said he wants there to be a $500 fee for breaking the

rules on the

40) burn ban.
41) Public Works Director Chris Camarena gives update. Done hauling water.

Fixed intersection

42) trading with the county. Discusses leaky pipes by the football field that need

moved and

43) replaced, says the heavy trucks driving across it are worsening the condition.
44) Councilor Williams suggest we draft a resolution putting a 26,000lb weight

limit for that
